Ethernet transmitters RT4-5et task is to gather information from security or fire alarm panels and transmit it to WinSC program via Ethernet or LAN network. Ethernet can be provided for device only through wired connection. RT4-5et is universal Ethernet transmitter designed to run with multiple security and fire alarm panels from variety of manufacturers, such as DSC, PARADOX, CADDX, BENTEL and many others.
RT4-5et key advantage is possibility to work with any available Ethernet source, regardless of connection type, as long as it can be linked through RJ45 port.
Device can connect to two different IP addresses (Servers) – main and reserve. In case if main IP address is unreachable RT4-5et will automatically switch to reserve IP, and return back if link to main IP is restored. Instead of main IP address it is possible to use domain name for connection.
To create reserve connection channel from panel to security program WinSC RT4-5et have separate out for connecting any other CORTEX transmitter. If main and reserve IP both are unavailable the device will try to transmit signals through reserve transmitter (if the one is connected to RT4-5et)
Transmitters wide input voltage range (from 11 to 30V DC) allow to connect it to fire alarm systems directly, significantly saving installment times.
RT4-5et have 5* operating modes:
1 - Serial BUS mode (Standart)
2 - ABUS II address bus mode
3 - Esprit security panel mode
4 - Magellan security panel mode (for E/SP/MG series)
5 - Key-BUS protocol mode for DSC security panels
*- the number of operating mods can be changed in future versions of transmitter.
Besides, RT4-5et controls its own power status and transmits warning information if any power loss occurs.
